I wasn't feeling good at that time, inside and outside.
But I still had to meet the kids, teach, and be a good teacher for them.
So, I pushed myself to do it. I walked to the classroom.
"Dear, God. Help me," I prayed.
Surprisingly,
Before 10 minutes, He answered my prayer.
The kids changed everything.
Their smile erased the dumps.
Their laugh brightened the gloom.
Their warm touch eased the worry.
Everything in them changed my day.
I am really blessed to have them in my life. This 11 little angels...
Two hours passed.
The bell was ringing.
"It's time to go home, kids," I told them.
With their smile and their laugh, they prepared themselves to go home.
Everybody sat on the floor facing at me.
We sang a song to close that day.
We prayed together.
As always, the kids hugged the teacher one by one before they took their bag.
I hugged them one by one.
"Bye-bye. I love you," that's what I always told them when they hugged me.
But no one ever replied.
What do you expect from a 2 years old kid anyway... :-D
I thought, I'd hugged all my angels.
But actually not.
Sidney came to me.
"Aku belum, Miss Lyan," she said.
"Oiya," I replied, then hugged her.
"Bye-bye, Sidney. I love you," I whispered.
She hugged me tighter.
"I love you, Miss Lyan," she whispered clearly.
Then she smiled at me.
I was stopped by her words for a moment.
For a moment...
An unspeakable moment.
She's a little angel from up above.
She was sent by God into my life.
Thank you, Lord.
I love you, Sidney.
I love you, Kiddos.
