Kenneth, KG B, 6 yo boy.
He is a joker in his class.
Arnold and Hugo, KG B, 6 yo boy.
They make their teacher get dizzy almost everyday.
It was Easter time.
My school had a bible camp for KG B students.
Around 80 kids joined the camp.
We started at 8 AM.
So many fun activities prepared.
Yet, as the title shown, it's a Bible Camp.
The main purpose of this camp was to introduce these kids to the salvation. The salvation from Jesus Christ.
So, after a day long activity was done, the camp was ended with KKR.
The preacher talked about salvation with the simplest words so that they could grab the point.
At that moment, I was asking myself,
"Do they understand? They are only kids. 5 years old. 6 years old. Can they really understand what the preacher is talking about?"
I tried to assure myself that they understood.
But still I had a little doubt about it.
Arnold and Hugo could not stand with the situation.
They felt that the venue was too hot.
Too many people there.
And...they were too tired as well.
Rather than disturbing others, the class teacher decided to move them to another room.
So, both of them were in a room with the school's nurse took care of them.
At the end of the KKR, the preacher asked every teacher to pray for each kid, to bless the kids.
Nobody knew what happened during this prayer time.
Kenneth, the joker, came to the room where Hugo and Arnold were there.
He kneed down.
Then, he asked the nurse, "Sus, boleh ga Kenneth berdoa untuk Hugo sama Arnold?"
"Oiya, Ken. Boleh," the nurse replied.
Then he started his prayer.
"Tuhan Yesus berkati Hugo supaya taat sama Ms. Intan. Tuhan Yesus juga tolong supaya Hugo sama Kenneth bisa masuk surga. Amin."
He did not stop his prayer.
"Tuhan Yesus berkati Arnold supaya taat sama Ms. Intan. Tuhan Yesus juga tolong supaya Arnold sama Kenneth bisa masuk surga. Amin."
Tears rolled down as I heard the story.
The lesson that I get and you get, probably different.
But 1 thing I wanna say, "Kids are wonderful. They are the truly prayer."
My Father in Heaven, bless these wonderful kids.
And thank you for the lesson You give through them.
