We Praise HIM

Kurang lebih 3 minggu aku dan anak-anak berlatih untuk penampilan hari ini. Konser Musik Dapur untuk ngerayain Paskah di sekolah tempat aku ngajar. Diberi nama "Konser Alat Musik Dapur" karena anak-anak memainkan alat-alat dapur sebagai alat musik mereka. Di kelasku, ada galon, sendok dan piring, spatula (sendok penggorengan) dan wajan. Lagu yang mereka mainkan adalah "My Jesus is Alive".

During the English Lesson, the kids had a free time. They might choose whether they wanted to draw or read. Billy chose to draw.

While drawing he talked in a loud voice, "I draw Miss Lian. This is Miss Lian. And this is Jesus!"

"Musik Dapur"

This last 2 weeks the class has a "Musik Dapur" practicing. It is for Easter Celebration. Why do we call it as "Musik Dapur"? Because the kids play musical instruments that come from kitchen...such as frying pan, spatula, plate, spoon, bottle, and gallon.

The Fixer

Since this week the kids learned about Wind Instruments, this morning they made a trumpet. It was made by some papers and a whistle.
I explained the kids how to make it. I explained slowly and clearly. They watched me. They paid attention carefully. “Ok, can you do it, Kids?” I asked them after showing the steps to make it. “Yes, Miss Lian,” they said surely.
So I handed all the materials that are needed to make it. I walked around the class to notice what they did. Some of them did it well. Some of them asked for helping. But I encouraged them to do it by themselves.
