First Week of School

It was the first week of school.

These 3 – 4 years old little children came to my class.

It was ok at the beginning, when mommies and nannies were still with them.

The bell rang.

So, it was time for parents and nannies to wait outside, because we’re gonna start the lesson.

Mommies said goodbye.

Nannies said goodbye.

Then…

Tears started to fall down.

Crying. Screaming. All happened in the same time.

Some of them cried only at the beginning.

Some of them cried almost along the school time.

Some of them cried all along the school time.

Some of them showed fear in their face.

One of them has temper tantrums for he couldn’t get his own way.

“Welcome to the new school year, kiddo.”

Well… it’s getting better day by day.

Some of them started to enjoy the class activities.

I’m so happy for it. Thanks, Lord! ^_^

But we still have to be aware because their acts are so unpredictable.

Yeah… kids…

I love them anyway... ^_*

One thing I learned…

They cried, felt afraid, and got mad because of the new situation they had to face.

They felt uncomfortable and insecure with the people around, the new classroom, and new situation.

It’s too hard for them.

All they need was hug.

They needed someone who used to bear them in this kind of situation.

They missed someone who used to rub their head and say, “Everything's gonna be alright…”

They needed a warm hug...

Children feel it, adult as well.
